What is bridge mode?
Bridge mode is the configuration that disables the NAT feature on the M2 and allows the upper network to function as a DHCP server without an IP Address conflict. Connecting multiple routers can extend the Wi-Fi coverage in your office/home. Bridge mode fixes this by letting multiple routers share one single Wi-Fi network.
Where to find?
Webpage: Go to mywifi.mercku.tech, log in and go to ‘Advanced Settings’ and find ‘Network mode’ , in which you will be able to choose Router mode and Bridge mode
App: Click on Settings and find ‘Network Settings’ and find ‘Network mode’
How to use?
1)Enable bridge mode
2)Once enabled, the router will reboot, and go to bridge mode
3)Most router functions will be disabled, remaining ‘Manage the router’, ‘Internet’, ‘Wi-Fi Settings’, ‘Admin password’, ‘Network mode’, and ‘Upgrade Firmware’
If no IP assigned from the upper network, please reboot/factory reset the main M2 unit.
