Unbinding a device dissociates your router from your account. This can be used in the event you change the phone number that's associated with your Mercku App account.
Please ensure that you are using the latest app version. There are two different ways to unbind:
- On the Mercku App, go to Settings > Select Unbind (at the bottom of the page).
- You can also reboot and factory reset your M2 router to unbind your account. There are two ways to factory reset your router:
- On the Mercku App: Select the main router > Press Factory Reset on the bottom of the page
- Press the reset button on the bottom of the M2, wait for 5 seconds until the indicator light is blinking red. Please do not hold the reset button for longer.
If rebooting and factory resetting doesn’t fix your problem, please send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org containing the SN number on the bottom of the M2, we’ll look into it and unbind it for you at our end.
